YB Raja Nong Chik perlu meminta balik diskaun RM36.8 juta demi kepentingan rakyat.

  1. Mempertingkatkan keberkesanan dan kecekapan system penyampaian perkhidmatan melalui pendekatan hands on, mesra rakyat, penggunaan ICT yang meluas dan pewujudan one stop centre;

  1. I am disgusted by the RM36 million discount given to Sime Darby. Most ridiculous to say the least. Why must DBKl or the Ministry allowed such a huge discount why the KL residents had to suffer due to insufficient fund.

YB please tekan DBKL and the Ministry of Wilayah to get back this RM36 million of the people money.

  2. Raja Nong Chik is the Minister of WP. He must take responsibility for this scandal unless he has proof that DBKL made that decision to give discount and the ministry has no knowledge of it.

I am certain that Raja Nong Chik is fully aware of this discount of R36 million. I believe that Datuk Azeez the smooth operator must be the go between Raja Nong Chik and Sime Darby.

The Pasar Larut Malam is causing too much problems for the residents in Danau Kota. YB please help to move the pasar malam away as the residents are suffering. Please get them to move away as soon as possible.

  3. Jack and other Danau Kota residents

I do sympathise with what you have stated and suffered all these years over the disturbances and social problems created by the nightly Pasar Larut Malam in Danau Kota.

I have been trying my best to persuade DBKL and the Ministry to agree to move it. In fact Datuk Bandar has agreed to move it and DBKL has been looking for an alternative site.

I shall do my utmost to get it move out as soon as it is practicable. I know that this matter has been outstanding before the last general elections and you all have been waiting for a solution. Please bear with me.

    Other readers:

Bukit Kiara land – I also agree that we must get answer who actually approved the discount amounting to RM36.8 million and what was the actual sum paid by Sime Darby i.e. RM40 million or RM4 million.

Thank you so much for your comments.

    With kindest regards

  4. Nong Chik’s just doing lip service. Probably if someone torches the tapak pasar malam there up into flames, then they’ll move the tapak pasar malam ASAP. LOL.

  5. Thank you YB for speaking up for us. The pasar malam must be moved as soon as possible as it has created too many problems for the residents. Nobody is against them cari makan. We want to sleep in peace. no need noise pollution and other criminal activities in the area. I hope that the Minister Raja Nong Chik understands that.

Raja Nong Chik must also explain who approved the discount of RM36 million to Sime Daby for the Bukit Kiara land. YB must pursue this question because it will provide answers to other questions on Datuk Azeez, the Baling UMNO chairman. Thank you YB.

  6. Datuk Amin Nordin is known to be interfering with the enforcement of DBKL’s decision. He is prepared to do anything to please certain person in the PM Department. YB you are right when you have said Parliament that certain person in the PM Department is interfering in the administration side of DBKL.

You are also spot on when you are now asking who has made that decision to give the RM36.8 million discount. There are only two persons, Datuk Bandar and Raja Nong Chik, the Minister. I doubt if a government servant like Datuk Bandar dares to give such a huge discount. So we are leaving with only one person i.e. the Minister himself.

Secondly, the Minister has no right to chair any of the DBKL committee because only Datuk Bandar KL has the power to chair such committees. Strictly speaking, all decision made by the One Stop Center which was chaired by Raja Nong Chik is unlawful/invalid if they are challenged in court. Raja Nong Chik should learn from YB Wee.

BIAR SAYA BERKATA DISINI. TAK MALU KE RAJA NONG CHIK KEPADA ALLAH swt…
.YAB PM…kena betul kan MENTERI NI… idris jala NKRA tolong betulkan nong chik…”

SESUNGGUH TIADA YANG LEBIH INDAH DARI MELIHAT KUALA LUMPUR YANG SEJAHTERA.

  8. As parents we are very concerned about cyber cafe offering gambling in the premises. YB, you must get DBKL to take all actions to stop young children from gambling. Until today DBKL is still sleeping over this matter. Please wake them up to do the necessary.

  9. Prerogative to give discount, offer discount or anything on this type of issue is actually with the Datuk Bandar.

So the question shd be asked to the Datuk Bandar, not the Menteri.

It is completely unacceptable for YB WCK to exonerate the Datuk Bandar simply by saying “Saya percaya bahawa Datuk Bandar atau pegawai di dalam DBKL berani memberi satu diskaun berjumlah RM36 juta .”

Anyway, if the matter is legally correct, why shd YB Wee call for MACC to come in? takda salah apa yang nak siasat?

I fully agree with you that perogative to give discount lies with Datuk Bandar under the law. I still believe that no officers including Datuk Bandar dare to give such a huge discount of more than 90% i.e. RM36.8 million discount of RM40 million.

Well, it is also the perogative of Datuk Bandar KL to chair the One Stop Center (OSC) but the Minister chaired it which I believe the decisions are invalid. The Minsiter chose not to reply to this. I am told by my source that during the last OSC meeting last Monday, the Minsiter dared not chair the OSC. This was a good sign that the Minsiter is following the law for a change for the better.

If the Minister has evidence that Datuk Bandar Kl was the one who gave the discount then the Mininister should say it loud and clear. Unfortunately, the Minister chose to remain silence on who actually approved the 90% discount. I call upon the Minister to tell us who gave the approval i.e. he himself or Datuk Bandar KL.

The 90% discount is not a legal issue but a moral one. The reason being that there was no basis to grant such a huge discount bearing in mind that the purchase consideration of RM400 million for 71 acres of prime land in Bukit Kiara was a cheap sale of the century. Further, KLGCC was allowed to use the land without having to pay for it for many years.

It is high time that the Minister should tell us who actually granted the 90% discount i.e. he or Datuk Bandar KL.

  10. Yes Yes Yes! minister Raja Nong Chik should make public who actually approved the discount of RM36.8 millions, which belongs to the KL residents.

Hopefully MACC should move in to investigate the matter deeper about the involvement of Datuk Azeez, Sime Darby and the person that approved the discount.

THe person who granted the discount must be brought to book!
