On 1st August 2009, Yg Bhg Datuk Seri Mohd Annuar Zaini, Chairman of Bernama Bhd had said in response to the termination of the agreement with Bernama TV Synergy Sdn Bhd:

  1. Correct!correct!correct! Leaders in government or public organisation in Malaysia must learn to take responsibility for what they do or not done. This is a clear case of mismanagement of the worst kind. Anuar Zaini was in breach of all the objectives of Bernama in allowing Bernama TV to abuse Bernama.

    Anuar Zaini knew from day one Bernama TV started to owe Bernama and yet as chairman of Bernama he didn’t take action to stop it instead he allowed or encouraged it to owe Bernama. If this is not mismanagement, what is?

    The only honourable way for Anuar Zaini is to resign immediately to save Bernama from the embarrassment.

  2. Anuar Zaini must take the responsibility for all the mismanagement under his care and control. He cannot say that he was not aware of the debt and the used of Bernama name.

    It is a very clear case of mismanagement. He is not fit to be chairman of any organisation. He must resign now in order to preserve the good name of Bernama. If he doesn’t resign then the board must sack him.

  4. Anuar Zaini must resign for the mismanagement of Bernama. How couldthe chairman allow Bernma name to be used by a private company and also allow the private company to owe so RM15 million to Bernama.

    Bernama Bhd belong to the nation. It does not belong to Anuar zaini. Since there was such a massive mismanagement, Anuar Zaini must take responsibility 100% and resign. If not, the Bernama board should sack him as he is not fit to head Bernama for he has mismanaged Bernama.

  5. Anuar Zaini: After what you have done to Bernama, what are you waiting for? There is only one way left for you is to resign in order to take responsibility for what you have done with your eyes opened.

    Anuar Zaini must learn to take responsibility for one mistake or mismanagement.

    Perkara ini semua tidak akan berlaku, sekiranya Annuar Zaini mendengar amaran Datuk Zahid Hamidi pada waktu itu Timbalan Menteri Penerangan.Tetapi kerana Annuar Zaini merasakan dia cukup kuat,ego bongkak kerana pertalian dengan PM,Tun Abdullah ketika itu,akhirnya bernama jadi begini. Yang menjadi mangsa adalah pekerja BERNAMA.

    Datuk Zahid mampu tersenyum dengan Datuk Tajol Rosli, kerana Annuar Zaini pernah mempunyai cita2 untuk menjadi MB Perak.Semua orang2 UMNO di PERAK tahu kisah ini. Annuar Zaini zaman anda telah berlalu, insaflah dan sedarlah kita tidak akan hidup menongkah langit. Bertaubatlah,jangan selalu menganiaya orang bawahan. Doa orang dianiaya dimakbulkan Allah s.w.t dan akan dibayar tunai di dunia ini. amin.

  10. Annuar Zaini adalah orang yg sombong bonkak dan ego. Kalau di Jepun dah lama bunuh diri …. Ni suruh berhenti masih lagi berdegil. MACC bila lagi nak buat siasatan.
    I hope YB Wee will bring it to Parliament endlessly and ask MACC to investigate.
