Questions for Oral Answers

1. Tuan Wee Choo Keong [ Wangsa Maju ] minta Perdana Menteri menyatakan apa tindakan yang di ambil untuk memperbaiki perbezaan yang amat ketara bayaran gaji dan elaun bagi pegawai negeri kakitangan awam dalam perjanjian Ceupacs berkesan pada tahun 2007 menyebabkan pengawai rendah dibayar lebih tinggi daripada pegawai atasan menyebabkan kegusaran, tidak puasan hati dan pengurangan effisiensi perkhidmatan.

Tuan Wee Choo Keong [ Wangsa Maju ] asks the Prime Minister to state what actions were taken to rectify gross discrepancies of salary and allowance payments to civil servants in Ceupacs agreement effective in 2007 resulting in junior officers being paid higher than their seniors causing great resentment, disincentive and inefficiency.

2. Tuan Wee Choo Keong [ Wangsa Maju ] minta Perdana Menteri menyatakan apa langkah telah di ambil untuk menghentikan perkauman dan sifat anti-nasionalis dari usaha mengugat kestabilan negara, dan apa tindakan yang harus di ambil dalam kerangka sediada untuk mencapai tujuan maksud dan memenuhi objektif program 1Malaysia.

Tuan Wee Choo Keong [ Wangsa Maju ] asks the Prime Minister to state what measures have been taken to stop racism and anti-nationalists from destabilizing the country, and what actions to be taken in order to achieve the objective of 1Malaysia program.

3. Tuan Wee Choo Keong [ Wangsa Maju ] minta Menteri Dalam Negeri menyatakan apa tindakan yang di ambil untuk menyiasat laporan polis yang di buat keatas EXCO Selangor YB Ronnie Liu atas dakwaan pemalsuan tandatangannya dalam skandal Surat Sokongan, sehingga Lee Kee Hiong, bapa saudara beliau Lee Wye Wing dan syarikat WSK Services antara nama yang di ketengahkan.

Tuan Wee Choo Keong [ Wangsa Maju ] asks the Minister of Home Affairs to state what actions were taken to investigate the police report lodged by Selangor Exco member YB Ronnie Liu alleging forgery of his signature in the Letters of Support scandal, resulting in the names of Lee Kee Hiong and her uncle, Lee Wye Wing, and WSK Services being highlighted.

1. YB Tuan Wee Choo Keong [WANGSA MAJU] minta Menteri Kementerian Sains, Teknologu dan Innovasi menyatakan tindakan-tindakan yang telah dan akan diambil terhadap Venturepharm Asia Sdn Bhd atau lembaga pengarahnya yang mengelirukan kementerian untuk berurus dengan XLW Inc daripada Amerika Syarikat yang tidak wujud, dan telah membayar RM2,264,800 daripada jumlah peruntukan RM5.36 juta gran Tecnofund untuk penyelidikan biofeed.

YB Tuan Wee Choo Keong [WANGSA MAJU] asks Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation to state what actions have been taken or will be taken against Venturepharm Asia Sdn Bhd or its directors for misleading the Ministry into believing that it was tied up with a company known as XLW Inc from USA, which was non-existent, to grant the Technofund for research into bio-feed totaling RM5.36 million and out of which RM RM2,264,800-00 had been paid to-date?

2. YB Tuan Wee Choo Keong [WANGSA MAJU] minta Menteri Pelancongan menyatakan sebab pembatalan tender pertama pembinaan pavilion Malaysia di Expo Dunia 2010 di Shanghai, di mana Venturepharm Asia Sdn Bhd (Venturepharm), yang diperbadankan pada Ogos 2005, tidak berserta dan mengapakah dalam tender kedua, Venturepharm yang tidak berpengalaman berkenaan diberikan kontrak bernilai RM20 juta dengan kemungkinan pertambahan (variation order) RM10 juta walaupun terdapat peserta lain yang lebih berpengalaman?

YB Tuan Wee Choo Keong [WANGSA MAJU] asks the Minister of Tourism to state why, and on what basis, was the first tender for the project to build the Malaysian Pavilion in Shanghai World Expo 2010, which Venturepharm Asia Sdn Bhd (Venturepharm), incorporated in August 2005, did not take part, was cancelled? And when the project was subsequently re-tendered why, and on what basis, was Venturepharm, which had no previous experience in the building industry, was selected against other experienced companies to build the same pavilion costing RM20 million with a possible variation order of RM10 million?
