“Low-cost carrier AirAsia Bhd wants to opt out of all joint-venture agreements with national carrier Malaysia Airlines (MAS), a source says. AirAsia decided at a board meeting last week that it would seek to terminate its agreements with MAS soon, according to the source, in HERE.
MINDEF has extended MAS contract for MALCON-UNIFIL from 2012 to 2014. Isn’t it strange that suddenly in July 2012 AirAsia X Sdn Bhd was the chartered carrier for MALCON soldiers?MAS was the only chartered carrier for MALCON flights from 2006 until it was “hijacked” recently!
Throughout the years, MAS livery/logo has been changed for good reasons and with the approval of the Board and Cabinet.This is the new logo/livery that has been changed for no good reason.
There is MAS Board meeting this morning at 10:00 am. Hopefully the Board will be transparent and provide answers to the questions posed for the past week which are still unanswered. Looking at the budget for Marketing and Promotions budget stands at about RM560 million for 2012, the cost of designing and re-branding may be several million Ringgit was a small figure.

After the MAS-AirAsia share “suap” was inked by Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar (Amok), the MD of Khaznah Nasioanl Bhd, someone was deadly against the use of RED colour on MAS logo as it was strongly felt that RED is an exclusive colour for another airline. For the benefit of that someone, MAS was set up on 1-10-1972 and RED was the original colour of the logo of MAS! WHO INNOVATE and WHO IMITATE?

After some 10 months in MAS En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (AJ), as MAS Group CEO, should have been able to identify some of the major leakages that needed to be plugged as part of his many BIG turnaround plans. But it would appear that AJ is more interested in plugging the wrong LEAKS!
