The present Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur, Yg Bhg Dato’ Ab Hakim Borhan, will be retiring at the end of this month. There was speculation that Yg Bhg Dato’ Ab Hakim Borhan will be extended for another two years.
In the light of my letter of complaint against En Mohd Yusof Alwi, the Pengarah of Jabatan Bangunan, to Datuk Bandar KL, Datuk Bandar KL has instructed Yg Bhg Datuk Salleh Yusuf to chair a special meeting today (31 October 2008) on the *28th Floor DBKL*, Jalan Raja Laut, at 3 pm to discuss and resolve several issues raised in my letters of complaint against the said En Mohd Yusof Alwi with regards to the Stop Work Order dated 19 October 2008 issued against Platinum Victory Sdn Bhd and the subsequent lifting of the said Stop Work Order on 23 October 2008, where the complainants were specifically not informed of that secret meeting on 22 October 2008 between the said En Mohd Yusof Bin Alwi, the developer, its architect, contractor and the so-called resident association representative. YB Datuk Saravan, the Deputy Minister for Wilayah Persekutuan will also be attending this meeting on behalf of the Minister of Wilayah Persekutuan.
Pemudah, the special task force set up to facilitate business, has “adopted” Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) with immediate effect to make it more customer-friendly and improve its delivery services.
