  1. So at long last, the BN government had indirectly admitted that it has wrongly sacked the 6 judges. But RM5 million was far too much especially when at all material times they were still receiving pensions and gratuities.

I am shocked that these judges have sold their souls. The nation fought for them and they took the monies left teh rakyat behind. No principle after all!

  2. most rediculous. Got pension and at the same time got million of Ringgit as compensation and Badawi said the government was not wrong!

If the government was not wrong then why pay compensation? He is a real Bodohwi!

Common sense tells us that when one pay compensation that mean the government was wrong.

The compensations are far to high in the light of the judges did not loose their pension! This is what I call a waste of public fund!

No wonder Nazri was trying to hide oit by saying I don’t know!

    The compensations were scandalous.

  3. If I will be paid RM5 million I would love to be sacked.

Zaaid Ibrahim has no reason to pay compensation worth RM10.5 million of rakyat’s monies! This is most scandalous for this Badawi’s government.

Badawi: Please take note that the RM10.5 million is rakyat’s monies and not UMNO or Bn’s monies. Since they are receiving their pensions then compensation should not be so high. It is shocking to me.

It is unacceptable. Zaid Ibrahim should have taken into public interests before fixing the figure at RM10.5 million.

Further what is so secretive about the compensation. Public rights override private rights.

I cannot support the amounts paid and the way the government was trying to keep the figures under wrapped.

I have had enough of this Badawi.

  4. When we were crying our eyes out for the judges, they are getting their pensions and gratuity(how much?YB Wee please ask this question))
Plus of course, the RM10.5m paid by Zaid.
It is easy for Zaid to be generous with people’s money?

  5. Zaid Ibrahim should be responsible for the payment of the amount of ex-gratia payment. The payments were far too high bearing in mind that the ex-judges have been receiving their pensions all these while.

Zaid Ibrahim should be held responsible for all these.

  6. Zaid Ibrahim only wants publicity without taking into account that public fund should be properly utilised especially when these judges were receiving their respective pension.

RM10.5 million is a lot of money – especially now!

If it was Zaid Ibrahim own monies I don’t mind at all. This is the typical way of BN mentality and lavishly spending rakyat monies.

Zaid Ibrahim resignation is now questionable?

  7. Zaid Ibrahim: Please help me to get sack so that i will get a good compensation. I am happy with RM100K.

  8. Note that the decision to pay was way back when PM was into a state of regaining popularity via many means. In one instance, Datuk Zaid was roped in as Senator and given the post of de facto law minister. It was certainly a collective decision with PM and also umno elites consent then. Why blame on this ex-minister now ?

Whatever is the payout, it is history now and bear in mind that no amount of cash can wash away those heinous sins committed by the people in power that took away these judges rights and justice. Let us look at the bigger picture of wastages by the ruling regime to the tune of billions. Please
google ” silterra ” a company in Kedah funded by the govt to the tune of 5 bil and still in red. Asking for 8.5 bil injection of fund to stay afloat. Be angry by all means but be focussed and and on the right track.

Let us not be sidetrack by the MSM that spin out controlled news for the masses but be open minded with what we read and know that which is spin by the editorial.

  9. the ex-PM should reimburse the national treasury so that the money can be put into helping the poor and needy, especially those Malay chaps whom the ex-PM worked so hard to provide for
