yb, to correct menteri statement, MAS has been audited by IATA via IOSA audit every 2 yrs.

Thank you for our comments. I know that MAS has been audited by IATA Safety Audit, which is of international standard. AirAsia is not audited by the same organization.

Just to add….
MAS failed ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations – more thorough than IOSA) last 2 years because of weaknesses at policy level (ask senior management why). If fail again next year, do not ask but sack them!
