At about 4 pm today there was a fire in MAS Avionic Shop, level 2, Hangar 2 in Subang. The Avionic Shop has been existent in MAS for more than 30 years and this is the first time that a fire broke out so mysteriously.
The Government is into the 14 days in the search and rescue operation and the acting Minister of Transport, YB Dato’ Hishamuddin Hussein, has been advising members of the public not to speculate on the missing MH 370.
Day 2 to 7 have been filled with conflicting statements from DCA chief and Group CEO of MAS. There were more questions than answers during these agonising 5 days.

It took MAS 10 hours to hold a press conference to announce that MH 370 was missing.
On 9-3-2014 at 9 am there was a press conference by the Minister of Transport, YB Datuk Hishamudin Hussein and En Ahmad Jauhari Yahya (AJ) Group CEO of MAS spoke about “air turn back”, “CCTV footage of the two person used Austrian and Italian stolen passports” and “assets used for the search and rescue exercise”, HERE.
The missing MH 370, which was flying to Beijing, lost contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC) at 2:40 am on 8-3-2014.
