  1. Mr WCK, thanks for updating us on this matter. Its a good first move to make to meet up with him. We expect the momentum to rise and continue to ensure that the issues raise are addressed in a timely mannerMr Wee, do you have your operations center up and running? If you do, lets us know the address and operations hours… it would be could if you can get that started soonThankS!

  2. YB Wee, You know that Minister of WP is just to please the UMNOputras. would appear that during the meeting the only constructive decision made was that all complaints regarding DBKL will be attended to within 72 hours. This is the only thing. Every other issues were ended with the standard reply “Ministry or DBKL will look into it”. Therefore, I do agree that Minsitry of WP is a waste of public fund and shouold be scrapped.

  3. Sdr MohamadMy service centre/clinic is now under rennovation since 2 days ago. I have been told that the works will be completed within the 10 to 14 days from now. So please bear with me as I am starting everything from scratch. It is not easy. I shall try my very best. The address is 24-1, Jalan Metroview, Wangsa Maju. It is above the Zero One Coffee Shop – next to the Bangi Kopitiam.Sdr I look forward to meet up with you when it is in operation. I shall have a small makan session to mark the opening OK sdr.Thank you for visiting my blog and of course, thank you for giving me your valuable views.

  4. Ouch! The usual: We will look into this matter response. Even when you asked about it, he needs to refer to Datuk Bandar. tsk tsk, The only thing that he seems to take action is on the immigration problem. Others, refer to Mayor. Yep: redundant.

  5. Thank you Mr Wee for replying my comment immediatelyThat location is great, i see a lot of people going to the Bangi kopitiam area

  6. Brader Wee,First of all, congratulation for taking the right step after following Dr. Wan Azizah’s advice. Common virtue, if you want other to listen, you must first meet with the person regardless of the positions. Yes, personally he is a nice person, I do agree. But he failed to deliver the promise for Wangsa Maju when he was the MP before. I remember those promises. So please be practical. Sort out the priorities. Need more help from the community you serve? Just voice it out. I am sure, we are more than happy to help you to help ourselves. You cannot do it alone. Also, please don’t wait to join the PR. Forget and forgive those past that you guys were having. I fully support your stand in the past but STRENGTH come from forgiven heart. You will need a lot of IT these days. Keep up the good works! AK

Secondly, please tell DBKL to give saman or tarik kereta to whom who park at desa setapak side road which causing a jam every evening and night. Thanks if you could do what you promise.

  8. YB Wee,Commendable of you to attend the first meeting. See if he is acting on any of your complaints otherwise just deal directly with Datuk Bandar if it is just him that will ultimately do the work. Bring up in parliament the redundancy of the Ministry which the PM should have abolished when they were downsizing the government ministries. I guess we will have to wait for the new PM to do it. The present ones seems to be facing the boot soon.

  9. congrats mr wee! keep updating your works in your blogs so people will know that Pakatan RAkyat MPs are really doing work for the rakyat.

  10. Sdr Wee,Good job. Please follow-up on all the promises made that he “will look into the matter”.On another note why can’t KL street be as beautiful and tidy as S’pore.I feel so angry at the inefficiency of DBKL.Didn’t our City Planner observe how the City State do up their city -wide and simple side walk (simple concrete slab as compared to KL elaborate tiles which are so expensive),no advertising banners on lamp post, no streen light in the middle of pavementetc, etc.Take a look at Jln Ampang near Selangor Dredging where they are constructing NZ Curry House – the pavement is already so narrow yet there is a street light right in the middle of it complete with advertising banners and with motor cycle parked all over. And this is the main area where tourist walks to KLCC. DBKL please try to learn to observe. You can do a lot more by observing rathet than the usal “lawatan sambil belajar” overseas.Sdr Wee perhaps you should make it your agenda that in your tenure as wakil rakyat you will transfrm KL into a “world class city” -which was apparently the slogan used by DBKL but as we can all see are just mere slogan.

  12. yes, we all know what “look into it” means……it means we will “still be looking” at the clogged drains, the filthy eateries, the continuous discharge of restaurant waste into drains, continuously feeding the rat population, …and we will still see trees cut down indiscriminately, housing developments popping up everywhere haphazardly, and crime still rampant everywhere due to poor street lighting, lack of community policing and pondoks…….that’s “look into it” in BN’s inimitable style…

  13. Sdr Wee,Just an observation – if the Minister doesn’t know the existence of all the problems raised where was he all this while? Is he a KL resident or what?

  14. yb wck..saya masih ingat antara janji2 yb zulhasnan sewaktu pilihanraya 1999 ialah utk membina masjid utk penduduk seksyen 2 wangsa maju…masjid di atas bukit seksyen 2, depan jalan metroview yg baru siap tu…setelah menang, projek masjid tu terbengkalai walaupun bukit sudah ditarah sebelumm election lagi, tengok2 masjid wangsa melawati yg warna kuning tu siap dulu! kerja2 pembinaan hanya bermula sekitar 2004 & setelah 4 tahun barulah hampir siap!! you see, it took him almost 10 years to fulfil his promise…saya memohon yb utk meminta pihak2 berkenaan supaya dihentikan sebarang projek pembinaan di bukit2 seksyen 2, 4 & 5…saya tengok dah terlalu banyak pembangunan di atas bukit tersebut, dgn wangsa walknya yg dlm pembinaan, dgn apartment & kondominium, business centre & entah apa2 lagi…di mana green belt wangsa maju yg tinggal? dulu hutan2 di bukit seksyen 2, 4 & 5 masih terpelihara, tapi sekarang, perlahan2 semuanya habis digondolkan..hentikan kerakusan pemaju sebelum terlambat

  15. It is obvious taht Minister of WP is redundant. He can only said that we will look into it. More oftenthan not that Minister of WP will try to play some residents from from the useless PM.Please do take care of us as we are eyes of Datuk Badar, who is asleep like like other miscomunication.p/s He want to see.!

  17. Good job YB. However please ensure the promises of the Minister is being being carried out. It is easy to say yes, but action is another matter. Nevertheless this is a good start.I must stress the importance of having the administration back in the hands of KL people. Therefore the MPs must persevere to see to this. I have spent several hours studying the Federal Capital Act 1960 I believe the MPs must whip open the law book to look at the relevant sections in the Act which have ‘locked’ the DBKL with the Federal Government.

  18. I do not hold out much hope in DBKL and F T Minister with regards to responding to public complaints/letters within 3 days. The reason being was that Datuk Bandar did not even b other to respond to YB Wee’s letter to him dated 31-03-08 regarding the cutting of trees in Jalan Genting Kelang. As long as Datuk Bandar is not elected by the people, he will not bother about the people plight. Don’t hope too much. DBKL is just useless and it is not taking care of the KL resident but only take care of the UMNOPUTRAS.

  19. YB Wee you must check out all the projects by Platinum Victory Sdn Bhd. Check whether the approval for all their massive projects in Wangsa Maju received proper approvals and/or approvals given were in acordance with DBKl poolicies, rules and guid lines.Platinum Vicotry Sdn Bhd is the No. 1 strong supporter of Yew Teong Look, the useless MCA representative.

  20. If I remember correctly, the high rises on which the Platinum Victory properties are site on used to be a huge mining pond, overgrown with water lilies and hyacinths. The ecosystem was upset when development moved in. the lake used to contain various freshwater fish, including the ferocious toman. It used to be a swimming pool for poor children living in the area and for fishing enthusiasts to fish for fun. Today, the lake is gone save for a small patch of water. The mining pond is gone and I wonder if it is safe to build these high rises on such reclaimed land.

  21. AliceIf it was a mining pool how could Platinum Victory got that peice of land. Can someone somewhere shed some light in this matter. It is very important that DBKl clarify this matter. Alice, please give us the exact location of the pond where Toman and other fishes were swiming around happily! If we were to write to DBKL on such thing, DBKL will take years to give us a reply. We hope that YB Wee will persue this matter further.

  22. Possible material for next week’s question: Some 30,000 members of the various village development and security committees (JKKK) in Kedah have resigned en bloc. The JKKK members, who were appointed by the former Barisan Nasional state government, were told to tender their resignation on Tuesday.

  23. SELESAIKAN MASALAH KESESAKAN DI JALAN MASUK DARI MRR2 KE PV6 TAMAN MELATI ADA KEDAI LOGAM HARAM DAN PENJAJA2 HARAM PUNCA KESESAKAN. SELESAIKAN DULU MASALAH INI BARU KAMI PERCAYA KHIDMAT ANDA. AMBO CAYO DEMO LEH BUAK KEJOOOO SO BUKTIKAN . TIAP2 PAGI PETANG SESOK LORI LETAK SESUKA HATI.
