  1. Mana RM 4.6 Ribu Juta?

    Abdullah Ahmad Badawi telah mengumumkan RM 4.6 Billion sebagai peruntukan memperkasa pengangkutan awam.

    RM 4.6 Billion bukan kecil anak. Ianya satu jumlah yang tak tercapai dek akal saya. Namun keadaan tetap sama. Bas RapidKL berjalan tidak ikut jadual. Rakyat tersepit persis sardin dalam tin dalam gerabak LRT. Penumpang Komuter juga turut menderita lemas dari Seremban ke KL Sentral.

    Lalu rakyat pun bertanyalah. “Mana pergi RM 4.6 Billion ini?” Sepatutnya selepas duit sebanyak ini diperuntukkan pastilah ada perubahan drastik terhadap sistem pengangkutan awam.

    Memandangkan saudara sangat peka dalam pengangkutan, saya berharap hal – hal ini dapat diberi perhatian.

    frankly base on historical track records, it might 3 days for some pegawai to read the title of the letters

    does DBKL has any staff appraisal system to appraise, improve or release their manpower like a viable commercial entity? I guess not.

    thanks for the insiders’ view of the attitude, aptitude of some of the consumers of our tax and rate monies. the matters you raised are reasonable, within the control of DBKL and it is the lack of will that is frustrating the residents of KL

    There is also an inconsistency in implementation. How can that gerai be left unattended when swiftly after the GE, the Desa Setapak stalls were “tsunami-ed” themselves?

    perhaps in the next meeting, in addition to following up matters arising, perhaps one should examine with DB that if there is any bias or inconsistency in enforcement.

  3. 1) That pasar malam is a disturbance to the public. Needs to be shifted far away from the houses in the vicinity. How to sleep like this.

    2) I try to avoid driving into Desa Setapak nowadays. It’s not for cars- no parking, double parking on the road, etc> might as well convert the place into an open-air pedestrian mall. Convert all car park lots into gerai. Encourage entrepreneurship.

    3) By selective demolition of hawkers lots in May 2008, DBKL nearby created another May 13. DBKL are bloody racists.

  4. Dear YB, i refer to issue 8, that was raised during your meeting with the Datuk Bandar at DBKL on 26 May ’09, where the following ‘NOTE’ inserted:

    Note: I had been informed by DBKL that Datuk Bandar had given specific instructions to tear down all illegal telco dishes and antennas.

    I would like to know what is DBKL’s action against my complaints for the past 10 years on the premise owner that had telco dishes and antennas fixed next to my mum’s and my own bedroom? As far as i am aware these telco antennas built than were illegal until after my last complaint to DBKL 15 May 2008. Please don’t tell me that it is now given an approval!!

    You had also mentioned to the Datuk Bandar of the danger exposed to the public health. The Datuk Bandar should have known this better and should not delay to look into this matter, especially my case as it has been 10years now. My family been directly exposed to it day and night all these 10 years. I was not even 40 when i was diagnosed with rheumatism 7years ago and my neighbour is down with parkinson recently. Could this be the effect of these telco towers?

    After my complaint to you few months back, you had personally called me to assure me that the matter will be solved as soon as possible. As at today 5 June 2009 these giants are standing still on the roof top of the shophouse next to my residence.

    My heart goes out to people like setapak garden.I too live in setapak garden and it’s no longer the place I used to know as my resting place after work.

    DBKL under Hakim Borhan was arrogant & haughty.Let’s hope & pray our new Datuk bandar will have a heart for us.

    Where does the ordinary rakyat go to get attention?

    I salute you for bringing up the problem of Wangsa Maju straight to Datuk Bandar. This show us you are with us feeling the agony of living in the nice place which turn into an ugly place by some irresponsible people.
