Siew Ka Wei, former TM chairman and current chairman of Ancom Bhd, MD of Nylex Bhd and Redberry Media Group (which owned the defunct Malay Mail) and Ms Elizabeth Ken (both in orange “uniform”) when they were arrested and detained by MACC in January 2019.

  1. When Najib was the PM, Sewage Ka Wei was very influential, powerful and of course i agree he is a corporate genius. He dropped Najib’s name as if there was no tomorrow. after Najib was koyak, now he is and his corporate brothers in Redberry now are corporate pariahs. All banks stayed away from his Ancom, Nylex and Redberry. But he still got his playmate Elizabeth Ken – the CEO of Geeko Tech Sdn Bhd. Now the Sewage is awaiting to be charged and join Najib in River Bamboo Resort! Hooray!

  2. I was working in Malay Mail. in 2017 I saw many tablets lying around the Redberry office. I was told by the Redberry staffs that Siew Ka Wei/Redberry got a lucrative contract to supply cheap tablets to Min of Education. Now we know the contract worth RM340 mil!!! WTF???? MACC should look into this deal.

  3. After having being detained for 4 days, why are Siew and his birdies Elizabeth Ken not charged? This Padu scandal is much bigger than the Speedy Gonzales Geeko. As teacher we know the tablets were useless. It was done to siphon out money! I want to hear what the Minister of Education and Minister of Communication & Multimedia have got to say about this tablet scandal?

  4. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Min of Education, Min of Communications & Multimedia, Padu, Utusan and Siew ka Wei are keeping very quiet about this scandal. Are Padu and Min of Education hoping to sweep this tablets scandal of RM340 million under the carpet. No way it is already out in the open. Puan Latheefa Koya & SPRM what are you all doing about this? I can wait for Parts 3, 4 & etc.

  5. Padu must be held responsible for this scandal. When there is sugar the ants will be there. Just like Siew Ka Wei who was never part Utusan Melayu and yet he attended official meeting with Padu/Ministry of Education re the tablets deal. WHY? Something is very fishy about this. Ministry of Education must come clean to clarify this scandal of RM340 mil! Keeping quiet about this will put the Minister of Education in a bad light.

  7. Why was the corporate genuis Siew Ka Wei present in the Padu pre price negotiation meeting?? It must be more than meets the eyes. This is definitely another big scandal – a miniature 1MDB!
