Pada 5hb November 2009, semasa perbahasan Bajet 2010, saya telah menyeru Menteri Pelancongan, YB Dato’ Ng Yen Yen untuk memberi jawapan kepada soalan-solan seperti berikut:
Venturepharm Asia Bhd dan Madam Chen Oyan Yun Shai bukanlah menipu MOSTI sahaja ia juga ada terlibat dengan Kementerian Pelancongan.
Saya menyeru Menteri Perlancongan untuk memberi penjelasan:
- Memandangkan pembantu peribadi terdahulu Menteri, iaitu Madam Ivy See adalah seorang pengarah eksutif Daley PR, adakah ia mempunyai satu “conflict of interest” terhadap Menteri semasa memberi kontrak pengiklanan kepada Daley PR untuk kerja-kerja pengiklanan di China?
- Apakah alasan-alasan tender pertama Malaysian Pavilion Project dibatalkan selepas Menteri mengambil jawatan sejak April 2009?
- Apakah alasan-alasan sementara akhir bulan June 2009 Venturepharm telah dianugerahkan dengan kerja pembinaan
Of course, all of us in Ministry of Tourism knew for a fact that Grace Chen Oyan Yun Shai is a very close friend of Ng Yen Yen for donkey years since her days as deputy Minister of Tourism.
Grace Chen is a very powerful personality in Ministry of Tourism. The cancellation of the 1st tender after Ng Yen Yen was appointed Minister was to get Venturepharm to bid. We all knew that Venturepharm will definitely get the Malaysia Pavilion project in Shanghai Expo 2010.
YB was spot on on all the facts that he revealed in Parliament in connection with the Grace Chen Oyan Yun Shai and Minister of Tourism and all the projects have been awarded to companies connected to Grace Chen like: Daro Worldwide Sdn Bhd, Venturepharm, Daley Pr Communications Co Ltd, Fuji Property Management Co Ltd in Hong Kong.
Grace Chen’s influence in the Malaysian government must be stopped immediately before it is too late. I hope that MACC will start to investigate into Grace Chen and Ng Yen Yen.

As long as Grace Chen “contributes” to the powers that be, don’t hold your breath. MACC will not dare touch her. Maybe a team of anti-corruption vigilantes can do a better job.

Smells of corrupt practices and conflict of interests every where. It seems that Ministry of Tourism also know about Grace Chen Oyan Yun Shai, a close friend of Ng Yen Yen.
Ng Yen Yen wants us to believe that she is close to Grace Chen by chance. We all believe you. Tells that to the marines.
This Grace Chen Oyan Yun Shai is very powerful in the BN government in Malaysia and abroad. Even in Hong Kong she is getting the management of the properties belonging to Malaysian government. MACC should start to look into all hte bank accounts of Grace Chen.
I just cannot believe that Grace Chen Oyan Yun Shai from Taiwan can be so influential in the BN Government. Najib must look into this matter seriously and he must ask his government this question: Why is Grace Chen Oyan Yun Shai is so powerful that most of the advertising project and management of government properties in Hong Kong have been monopolised by Grace Chen Oyan Yun Shai.
A thorough investigations must be carried out immediately to stop the rot especially in the Ministry of Tourism.
I have been told by the officer in Tourism Ministry that Ng Yen Yen is extremely close Grace Chen. This Taiwanese is super powerful in the Ministry Of Tourism. What have been revealed are true. Ivy See who is a director of Daley PR Communications Ltd Guang Zhou was the personal assistant to Ng Yen Yen when she was the Deputy Minister of Tourism.
daley PR got all the advertising contract in China. It also a registered agent for the Malaysia Second Home Programe.
Venturepharm being awarded the Malaysian pavilion Project for shanghai Expo is most scandalous. This is a clear case of conflict of interests on the part of Ng yen Yen. she is very close to grace Chen. That’s why her ex-personal assistant became the director of Grace Chen’s outfit in Shanghai – Daley PR.
The MACC should have done a thorough check on Grace Chen and all the contracts that she got from Ministry of Tourism.
What can you do YB?? Seems that all your questions is left unanswered by YY.. She still award contracts to Grace
