This is a typical action of the block-headed Head of IT who rose up during Idris’ time. She and the whole department are useless and inneffective. One of her staff is all about golf. Whenever he travels on duty he will demand on the host or vendor to play golf. There is even talk of him having built up relationships with the vendors outside of the business norms. She knows this and she is doing nothing about it because he has litthe supporters even in her deprtment.
All they know is how to come up with policies after policies and exert them. They are never any help but have become a hinderance. We have long given up on them. Now she is doing this to protect her job.
This is the same woman who is responsible for the dissasterous IT outsourcing and the multimillion ringgit no way out outsourcing of the reservations system to SITA. She had to call in more consultants to help them get out of it.

Even though many are with you, you must highlight the relevant issues on abuses and mismamnagement. This is normal practice by companies but as usual MAS too slow to do anything. Normal Staff also abuses the company .It MAS predicament didn’t happen overnight. If you pick on the nityy grityy you will lose your crediility. you need to filter some of the issues raised by the staff .Not everything is what it seemed. Cahnging of logo ,uniform was mooted during Tg.Azmil. When the trio came, the uniforms are already in the store.

The inaction by the government can only be explained that TF is indeed very powerful. If he goes down he will drag others with him, including a bank or two. 1. How else can you explain the FAX scandal where FAX took home more than $200 mil when MAS was only paid $15 mil.
2. How else can you explain MOF paying MAS $36 mil on behalf of Fax, being cost of repair of MAS planes damaged by FAX.
3. How else can you explain FAX was later ‘rewarded’ by the government with the AOC and the rights to operate international flights.
4. How else can you explain former PM tried to persuade MAS to buy the excess planes ordered by TF (by the way Danny said publicy that he is in awe of TF’s negotiation skills for ordering 200 Airbuses).
5. How else can you explain that the government almost gave in to TF demands for another airport in Labu.
6. How else can you explain TF getting a big haircut for its debts to Malaysia Airports.
7. How else can you explain TF pulling off the stupendous share swop with Khazanah which saw MAS being 20% controlled by a competitor, or rather 100% control since the other board members know nuts about the intricacies of running an airline. TF knows about LCC not full service airline.
It is shameful that Khazanah bought TF story, though we can imagine that it was not too difficult for TF to convince the generalists CONsultants in Khazanah that he is the guru of the airline industry be it LCC or FSC. He managed to impress Danny so much so that Danny bought over $1mill of MAS shares. As the govt investment arm, Khazanah has failed miserably. What is stopping TF from going after Malaysia Airports ?
If the above daylight robbery continues unabated right under the nose of the government, it sends signals to the people that corporate hooligans with enough muscle and clout will have their way every time. Just look at the NFC, not a word from PM until the end. If PKR did not make noice NFC would have been swept under the carpet just like the FAX scandal.
