At a press conference held at its headquarters in Kota Kinabalu at 2pm today, Sabah Progressive Party (Sapp) has announced that the party has lost confidence in Abdullah Badawi’s leadership and its MPs will move a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister when Parliament resumes on Monday.

Visit to Taman Melati
On Sunday 8 June in the morning I visited the Taman Melati market and touched base with the rakyat. The constituents seemed upbeat despite the recent 41% increase in petrol price. The effect will be felt sooner or later as the petrol price increase will have a knock-on effect on the cost of daily essentials and utilities.
Police report lodged against Shell petrol station for alleged adulterated petrol
During my visit to Taman Melati on Sunday yesterday (8 June 2008), a petty trader by the name of En Anuar Bin Halili of Jalan Air Keroh, Setapak, sought my help to highlight a police report which he had lodged against a Shell petrol station in Wangsa Maju.
