He is doing all this to deflect the UMKNO pressures exerted on him to resign. His days are numbered. The people are not impressed by his bull shit. He was doing all this to save himself, SIL, son and his cronies. Bar Council president was licking him up the ar.. By the way the Bar Council dinner on 17th April was sponsored by the Goverment.So judge for yourself whether this is the genuine attempt by Pak Lah to do justice to Tun Salleh and others. Don’t you think that Bar Council has been made used of by Pak Lah for his own agenda. By the way the Bar Council president, Ms Ambiga, is now rewarded with the title of Datuk! Fantastic! the Bar should be proud of their presidnet who is now Datuk Ambiga. If {Pak Lah is still the PM, she better prya for it, I am not surprise if she is conferred with the title of Tan Sri!
YB, Maybe not all of the ex-judges (as I believe that some of them are quite old and not in the best of health), but definitely Tun Salleh Abbas. I think it makes perfect sense.
Appointment of the members of the Judicial Appointment Commission should be in the hand of the PM. We should not support the PM to be the one who nominate the memebrs of such commission.If we trust Pak Lah then we will definitely go to hell. Pak Lah has lost control of the whole goverment machineries. So he must not be allowed to do the chosing of the members of the Judicial Appointment Commission.Once we gave the right to chose memebers of the said commission to Pak Lahy then we are actually passing on the right of appointment to the 4th floor boys and girals!!We cannot afford another round of problems that we have seen in our judiciary for almsot 20 years.

The ineffiencies of the DBKL, the planning permission and Development Orders were issued not in accordance with DBKL guidelines and policies and the bad image of DBKL (i.e. corruption is synonymous with DBKL and DBKL is synonymous with corruption.Please see my posting on the issues that we have given to the Ministry of WP via Datuk Bandar KL office for answers. But until this date there was no answer/respond from the Ministry of WP. Ministry of WP is a redundant organisation. Its function overlapped with that of Datuk Bandar KL. Datuk Bandar has all the powers under the Federal Capital Act and the MInister of WP has none. Further, in 1995 the Ministry of WP was abolished. KL funtion the same way as it is now. The Minitry of WP was re-established in 2004 under Badawi. There is no good reason to re-established this Ministry. It is a waste of public fund. Million of Ringgit had to be spent to Keep Zulhasnan and Saravanan happy.Zulhasnan is the sole BN MP in WP and he was not qualified to be appointeed as Minister of WP. It is just like in Selngor where Pakatan Rakyat has the majority in the State Assembly and Tan Sri Khalid, the PKR Adun) is appointed MB for Selangor.The BN government must not waste taxpayers money just to sustain the redundant Ministry of FT fopr hte sole objective of keeping Saravanan and Zulhasnan happy!

Wow! Salleh Abas pun itu macam. If dia tak itu macam Bodohwi takan guna Bar Council buat ini function. Bar Council was made used of bythe 4th Floor boys to divert attention. We know that the Bar Council knew about the arrangement for the dinner well ahead of 17th April but its President Ambiga (oh! now Datuk already one)saw it fit to announce about the government sponsorship in Bar website on 15th April (2 days before the dinner).But Datuk Ambiga chose not to announce in the press. WHY? Because she did not want the government sponsorship dinner to be known to the public. What a nonsense? Bar Council was suppose to be independent – now it is just like a poodle for the govrnment!
