    The rakyat will agree for the revival of Firefly as a low cost jet services & another LCC for East Malaysia.

  4. Who does he think he is? Dictating terms to the MAB and then government. Threatened to move its HQ to Jakarta. You are right YB. The government should not bow down to this type of businessman.

    Kick such businessman out of Malaysia as soon as possible. He is not loyal to our country. He wants constant help when the Slumber Jack was in power.

  6. the strange thing is we all know that AirAsia was known to have not paid the airport taxes for the passengers… its paid by passengers upfront to AirAsia for MAB. Now why the heck was AirAsia keeping all the taxes and not passing it on to MAB.
    Seriously – Is the Govt and the authorities so stupid as to allow this to go on FOR SO LONG??? If AirAsia is not repaying MAB the monies, then they should just open a counter to collect the monies themselves first before allowing the passengers to board the planes… Am really sure that if it was any other airlines, it would have been sayonara long time ago….

This is what the Malaysian Culture is..See how the Pariah is amassed with the amount of wealth in a span of a few years..Music Man to Airline Man..PM should consider allowing MAS to do budget airlines as well and let them have a run for their money.. It’s a open sky policy..

      MAS already got its Firefly to complement its operations. Firefly was doing very well until the staffs being paid bonus up to 6 months. Yet, AJ dared to tell us that it was losing money. No company can start to make huge profit instantly. As long as it has the potential to grow then the company should be given the opportunity.

      Firefly was growing very well until the bloody share SUAP hatched by that bloody Nanny Danny and the other little Napoleons in Khazanah with the pariah. The very moment the Share SUAP was signed, that bast..rd Nanny Danny terminated the Firefly jet services, grounded the new airbuses and them resprayed.

      That bloody bast..rd Nanny Danny also terminated the profitable route JB/Kuching and KK. Firefly was expanding from KK to Perth and other places. All that were stopped by that Nanny Danny the maid upgrader.

      Now that he was koyak. Good riddance to bad riddance to bad rubbish. Hope that maid upgrader can carry on upgrading his maid to his master bedroom together with his wife.

  10. We must the pariah where he is. He thought he can blackmail the government. He must be thinking the the Slumber Jack is still the PM and he can use his Tingkat Empat to get whatever he wants. He already got about 90 routes from MAS. After share swap he got that maid upgrader to kill Firefly jet services and MAS profitable routes.

    People in East Malaysia are complaining that many of MAS routes have been cancelled. AJ better wake up. You are the CEO of MAS and not AA. Just beef up Firefly’s jet services since that maid upgrader already gone.

  11. Change all MAS domestic routes into LCC. Let FireFly operates but firstly bring back the former MD, Datuk Eddy. Then AA will not be so arrogant anymore. Even the new AA Malaysia’s CEO, Aireen Omar gave an arrogant statement that AA has yet to consider whether to use KLIA 2. Dont worry MAHB, FireFly will fully utilise the new KLIA 2. Just close down LCCT and let them think where they want to operate from.

    Once all MAS domestic routes become LCC, the lopesided catering contract with LSG shall automatically ceased. For Semenanjung routes (around 1 hour) a packet drink is sufficient. Also maintain the 16 front seats for premium LCC passengers. For Sabah & Sarawak routes, light meals shall be served perhaps.

    The present aircrafts (734 & 738) just need new FireFly livery. The present pilots and cabin crews can still be utilised. But be carefull when expanding the fleets. There will be parties trying to sell A320s, you know who?

    I believe a new breath of life is happening in MAS. All the best to MAS staff.

  12. Hell yeah! reinstate fireflyz jetservice and give another AOC to a new operator to operate new LCC right at AA turf. Make sure this time it will be literally “made” from M’sia not by someone who cant even speak malay.

    we already have AA and FireFly.
    or is it just me who got the statement of allowing another AOC for a new LCC wrong?
    because i believe FF already have everything from expertise to facilities to take AA by its throat.

Since AJ told firefly jet is not making money and MAS is not keen to run it except turboprop flights..why dont you ask former firefly CEO Dato Eddy if he is keen to take the challenge of running this business under a separate entity and give him a stake and let him run all Firefly jets as a separate entity..and proof to AJ that he is wrong!! I’m sure a lot of Malaysian will support it especially Sarawakians and Sabahans. Hopefully, Dato Eddy will not be another anaconda if he is successful later.

  16. Anaconda, politics & Civil Aviation Policy

    Firstly, this mess is the result of politicians messing around with rules of a civil aviation policy not strictly adhered to, if at all. This is Malaysia in a nutshell. Its costing the taxpayers more & more. Malaysia Boleh ……. boleh tukar fikiran …… from time to time.

    Secondly, thats why an ular lidi can grow to an anaconda or even a dragon. It only required someone with balls & guile with help from parties acting-in-concert.

    We can all talk or blog all we want, as long as these unhealthy practices continue in Malaysia, all these beasts will keep cropping up.

    Meanwhile, all our neighbours are laughing at us and enjoying the fruits of our folly like tourist arrivals etc. We not only mess-up our national carrier but also our airports authority whilst also encouraging an airline hell-bent at cutting corners until …..

    On the other hand, this fiasco is what we (the government too, hopefully) need to focus and improve, be it MAS or MAHB or MOF/MOT.

    But it all has to start at the very top, the head, the policy makers, the government, the PM. The leader has to get it right because it costs billions directly and multiples of billions indirectly.

    Unfortunately, going by the NST article (Prime News pg11, 26.06.12), he’s way off the mark.
