Tuan Wee Choo Keong [ Wangsa Maju ] minta PERDANA MENTERI menyatakan berapa kos yang telah dibelanjakan oleh Kerajaan untuk Jamuan Makan Malam Majlis Peguam Malaysia untuk peguam-peguam yang diadakan di Hotel JW Marriot pada bulan April 2008 dan juga menyatakan mengapakah Kerajaan perlu membayar jamuan makan malam persendirian oleh badan profesional yang sedemikian.

Perbelanjaan yang telah dibayar oleh Kerajaan untuk Jamuan Makan Malam Majlis Peguam Malaysia adalah berjumlah RM81,965.75.
Bar Council allowed themselves to be prostituted. Just to get a free dinner from the government worth RM81,000 the bar Council was so quick to praise the Sleepy Head. Thereafter, the Sleepy failed to implement any of the promise he had pledged during the dinner.
Bar Council tak malukah?
It is correct to also look at the angle of why Bar Council allowed itself to be prostituted?
Bar Council allowed itself to be prostituted by getting free dinner because its leadership playing the Bodohwi politics. It is very obvious. Bar Council should be independent from any political party or politicians.
During the dinner Bar Council was praising Bodohwi to the hilt of the proposed reforms but non was realised. They were typical of Bodohwi’s rhetoric.
There is no free meal in this world. Free meal comes with conditions. The conditions are the Bar Council must praise the Bodohwi government as a form of distraction of the Bodohwi’s inability to lead the country.
