Your stellar work at the Parliment should be complemented. Not many people can debate intelligent and bring out relevant and informative topics, especially those involving corruption and accountability.
FYI I am a 33 yo Malaysian working in Singapore earning below SGD2K. For this I pay SGD210 for rent, SGD 650 for family expenses. It saddens me when I read millions/ billions of RM pocketed by unscrupulous people with connections to the top.

KUALA LUMPUR: It was a double blow for influential Selangor Government executive councillor Ronnie Liu when
he was not among the five newly-appointed state DAP committee members.
Liu, who failed to secure a spot in the 15-member state committee during the party polls on Nov 28,
was not listed when Selangor DAP Secretary Ean Yong Hian Wah announced the list which was finalised after
last night”s committee meeting.
Instead, the new leadership under another state government exco, Teresa Kok, appointed Azman Masri,
lawyer and former Internal Security Act detainee V. Ganabatirau, Lee Kee Hiong, Shah Alam city councillor Ang Leng Kiat and Lwi Kian Keong.
“The new line-up of the state committee now consists of 20 members,” Yong said in a statement issued here today.
Lee, a Kajang town councillor and former political secretary to DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang, had failed to win
in the Nov 28 election but was expected to be included in the committee as one of the five appointed members.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Engineering former senior manager Mazhazni Jamaludin, 36, has claimed trial to obtaining a RM200,000
bribe over the contract for three barges worth USD134.2mil two years ago. He was accused of obtaining the money from MLC Shipbuildings Sdn Bhd owner Redzuan Goh Mohamad Karian, as reward for proposing
a contract to build and sell the barges at MLC Shipbuildings office in Kulala Lumpur between 1.25pm and 5pm on Dec 31, 2008.
Para pemegang unit skim Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) akan menerima dividen lebih tinggi 7.50 sen seunit bagi tahun kewangan berakhir 31 Ogos, 2010, iaitu lebih tinggi daripada 7.30 sen yang diisytiharkan pada tahun lepas.
Sumbangan dividen daripada Sime Darby Bhd pula menyusut kepada 10 sen daripada 20.3 sen pada 2009 .

Parliament allows motion to debate on bus accident
The Dewan Rakyat has allowed an emergency motion to debate on the recent bus accident in Genting Sempah ,
which claimed seven lives and left 39 injured ,
filed by Er Teck Hwa ( DAP-Bakri ) who said he had filed a similar application on Oct 14 to debate on the frequency of express bus accidents , citing the Simpang Ampat crash which claimed 12 lives . His first application was rejected in chambers on Oct 18 .
Unfortunately, Er said, less than two weeks after his application was rejected , another fatal road
accident took place and this time seven youths were killed .
Er also proposed a Royal Commission ( lagi ) be set up to investigate the two road accidents .

Revoked: Licences of two bus companies involved in two fatal crashes
The Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (CVLB) has revoked all the express and chartered bus licences of two
companies whose buses were involved in two fatal accidents recently, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz .
He said all 11 express bus licences of Syarikat Kuala Lumpur-Malacca Express Sdn Bhd and all 99 chartered bus licences of Syarikat Taipan Suria ( MM2H )
Sdn Bhd have been revoked . ( after this do we see any DAP MP follow up ? , looks like they only interest in
politicking bus accident , but not finding any new steps to prevent bus accident happen again )

No bus, so Khairy walks to Parliament House
Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin walked to Parliament House when he was unable to get a bus after getting off the light rail transit (LRT) at Masjid Jamek. Relating his experience further, he said, when he arrived at the Masjid Jamek station, he wanted to see if there was any bus that could
take him to Parliament House . However , no one could tell him the location of the nearest bus stop .
He then started to walk and reached Pasar Seni but failed to find a bus stop .
He then decided to walk all the way to Parliament House.
urged the Road Transport Department to place warning signs at the “black spots” or accident-prone road stretches.
Meanwhile, the Land Public Transport Commission (LPTC) is making road safety a high priority area in its list of concerns as it moves towards full operation next year.
Its chairman Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar in a statement said LPTC had begun discussions with bus operators and relevant government agencies with the view to resolving issues that resulted in safety being compromised within the industry.

Our opinion : Major bus accident happen due to overspeed or bus driver too tired and yet still cannot reject their greedy boss to work overtime . We also believe this hot holiday season , bus driver work 7 days per week means no rest day , so are they good enough work on 8th days ,
if yes , no rest again on 2nd week , are they good enough on 15th day ? Some bus traveling straight
4 hours , may be like Kajang one , very dangerous , inst it should every 1.5-2 hours to stop 10-15 minutes .
